Received an email from Excel saying they’re looking for 155 Capts/Co-Pilots, Flight Ops Manager and a Training Manager? Anyone know who’s looking for so many qualified 155 pilots in Europe?

There was an Offshore gig in Romania a while ago... They initially wanted to start off with 155s, then I heard they changed their minds and intended to buy 139s instead..
Maybe they realized how expensive it would be, and have now turned back to utilizing 155s?
Would be interested in it as well..

VEGA again.....i believe if its really VEGA that is the 3rd or 4th time they are advertising for EC155 pilots.....But in the end nothing happens.....

To be considered for this role, you must be customer focused team player, have the right to work in the European Union and have the following qualifications:Commander, multi-pilot helicopter: EASA Part FCL
The requirements for commanders on multi-pilot company helicopters are:- A valid ATPL(H) with valid type rating endorsement (AW139)
- A valid IR(H) endorsed on type to be operated.
- Valid medical certificate (class 1)
- A minimum of 3000 hours total flight time
- A minimum of 1500 hours total helicopter flight time
- A minimum of 1200 hours total twin turbine helicopter time, of which at least 100 PIC on type
- Experience in similar aircraft complexity at least 500 hours.

SUMMARY

Communications and relationships
Excellent interpersonal skills Liaison as required with HEMS SP, engineering staff and third-party agencies to assist in reacting to operational and training requirements.
Knowledge and experience
Demonstrate experience of helicopter flight operations within the emergency services or relevant role. High level of knowledge of current aviation legislation. Nil accidents last 5 years. Experience of single pilot helicopter /emergency service/relevant flight operations. Carry out duties as a HEMS pilot at both Exeter and Eaglescott within an approved FTL and in accordance with CAA / EASA requirements and the DAATCL Operations Manual (OM). Reporting to the HEMS SP ensure the conduct of HEMS flight duties in accordance with CAA / EASA requirements and any other applicable legislation. IT literate.
Training/Qualifications
CAA/EASA ATPL(H)/IR or CPL(H)/IR 2000+ flying hours/significant proportion must be relevant single pilot/twin engine helicopters. 1000 flying hours PIC with 500 flying hours PIC helicopters 500 flying hours/overland/relevant operating experience. 150 night flying hours PIC/overland/relevant operating experience. NVIS experience desirable. H145 and/or EC 135 qualified and current. Full UK/EU driving license. Evidence of eligibility to work in the UK
Planning and organisational skills
Pilot secondary duties covering a variety of professional aviation related activities and in support of Helicopter Services department.
Creative and intellectual effort
Responsible as an aircraft captain for safe operation of DAATCL aircraft in accordance with the Operations Manual and Operating Procedures. Make autonomous decisions and review plans accordingly to ensure the safety of the aircraft in the event of changing circumstances during a task. Discuss with the Duty Manager or HEMS SP if necessary.
Emotional effort
Occasional exposure to traumatic circumstances or frequent exposure to highly distressing or highly emotional circumstances.
Physical skills and effort
The post requires developed physical skills to fulfil duties where there is a specific requirement for specialist ‘manual tasks’, co-ordination and accuracy. Frequent requirement to exert light physical effort during shift with occasional significant physical effort.
Accountability, autonomy and judgement
High levels of accountability internally and externally. Medium level of impact and freedom to act under minimal supervision. Make judgements involving complex facts or situations that require analysis, interpretation and comparison across a range of options. In consultation with HEMS SP ensure the conduct of HEMS flight duties in accordance with CAA / EASA requirements and any other applicable legislation.
Financial, physical and information resources
In consultation with HEMS SP, colleagues, HEMS crew and engineering staff, remain aware of and advise where necessary on operational or legislative factors that affect HEMS operations.
Policy and service
Follows procedures contained within Operations Manual and other relevant documents and makes suggestion to HEMS SP for changes.
Working conditions
Frequent exposure to unpleasant or challenging working conditions.
Leadership and people
Maintain and demonstrate an active interest in the overall activities of Devon Air Ambulance Trust and reflect the Trust’s vision, mission and values in all communications with the public.
