I think this is very real......There are many pilots out there looking for a job or a better job. The problem is that operators nowadays don´t invest in pilots.....either with IR or with a type rating. And with that they prefer to increase or fake duty times to full fill contracts. And off course...if you have the money to by a Type rating...then you´re free to go and work for an operator and move to another that offers better conditions. There will be no bond or even no sense of "gratitude" to the employer. And pilots will move around being mercenaries looking for the best paying job.

Ps: Saying foreign pilots are a plague...........not good

All very interesting, but a respectful request to maybe create a separate thread for T&Cs across the sectors and keep this one clear and concise for those looking for opportunities?

Thanks,

RL

90% of NPAS pilots are ex-mil, it's actually very difficult to get hired by them if you are not from a military or SAR background

From their recent recruits, I would disagree with your ex mil / Sar statement

babcock onshore has taken on a number of new co-pilots with no previous experience or TR and from what I hear, a very respectable co-pilot salary

Hargreaves was referring to NPAS not Babcock?

Another post that offers little to someone looking for Rotary Jobs in 2020 - I ask respectfully again can we try and keep this thread clear and concise for those looking for opportunities?

Thanks,

RL

With aircraft grounded around the world, commercial air transport effectively grinding to a halt and no possibilities of interviews due to various lockdowns, how many opportunities are you expecting to be posted on this thread??!?

And my post referred to NPAS, then added further info. hes been dripping about the industry in general, keep up.

If hes not getting hired maybe it's not his cv and qualifications

I'm clearly mistaken about the purpose of this thread so I'll remove my posts in an hour given I'm now cluttering it also. Enjoy 👍

Handbags at dawn....again!

Rogue Leader - its a "Rumour" network!!! Not a recruitment website. Calm down and just enjoy the posts you like, pick on the ones that you don't, slag people off where appropriate (and can get away without being sent by Prune Towers to the sin-bin) and try not to take things too seriously. After all there's a nasty bug going around!
To thread creep a bit more, our EMS outfit has just been issued with a Giant Condom with a pump on it. We apparently have to put the people with the nasty bug inisde. However, I am going to climb in it armed with a years worth of Compo and my stockpile of toilet rolls and stay there until next year.

It's also for "Professional" Pilots, and I don't think it's much to ask that a thread on Rotary Jobs in 2020 focuses on what's available rather than descending into personal bickering, with some even verging on racism IMHO.
