1. "Unstustainable rate" - any basis for your comment. How would you know?
2. Your (perhaps subtle) implication that the mother ship entering Ch.11 was somehow connected to TUPE at NWI wouldn't stand up to any scrutiny.
3. Why would TUPE not apply now, if the contract has been awarded to another operator? Contract "endex" (whatever that officially means!) has nothing to do with whether TUPE applies or not.
You wouldn't have been caught up in the 2015 contract loss by any chance? Still feeling bitter? Shame!

I took Julie’s summary to suggest that CHC were ‘winning’ contracts using unrealistic rates - this is nothing new -hence the phrase a ‘Loss Leader’. I then surmised that this practice might have been too widely used, leading to Chapter 11 Protection.
On a personal level - I saw how CHC managed the process and probably spent more on legal fees than they would have had to pay out if they accepted their responsibilities in the first place.
From my subsequent in-depth reading of UK Employment Law at the time - there is little chance of TUPE applying if a contract has run its course, ie ended, expired or ‘endex’. There is a greater chance if the contract changed provider part way through.
Mute point as I discovered that the protection that TUPE is meant to offer is only relevant if you are willing to fight your corner or if it’s suits the bean counters.
Please do not embarrass yourself further by suggesting that CHC behaved in anyway decently in the process.

Not true, it is a client requirement to move to Truscott. The client likes to conduct its business away from any publicity, Truscott to the facilities is less flying time than from Broome and the client has had enough of the expensive charges levied by BIA.
The client is running a very lightly loaded Airnorth ERJ 170 between YPPH, YTST and YPDN.
Heard the company operating the Black and Yellow 92’s stuffed up the corona isolation requirements in Broome and were kicked out.
