R44 & B206 - Helicopter Ag Pilot & all-rounder. Full time or contract Spray Pilot



Helifarm is looking for a full-time helicopter pilot (1500+ hrs PIC) who has experience spraying in R44’s and Jet / Long Rangers (pref. 300+ hrs). Position is based in Naracoorte region, southeast South Australia (near Vic border).

Preferred but not essential:
- Squirrel endorsement
- Fire experience
- Sling experience
- Night rating
- Bush work experience

Not sure where that applies but certainly not in the UK. You can be re-employed immediately but if you have taken the redundancy payment, and kept it, you reset the clock for years of service.

Victoria Police Air Wing – Specialist Response Division

Line Pilot - Position Details:
  • Two positions available.
  • Positions are based at Essendon Fields.
  • Salary Range up to $168,802
  • Weekend shift allowances including loadings ranging up to 57.76%

  • Successful applicants will be required to join Victoria Police as a Sworn Officer.
Victoria Police Air Wing operates single pilot IFR helicopters completing a wide range of tasks including Search and Rescue, Tactical deployment of Special Operation Group personal, general support to policing, surveillance and many other tasks. The helicopters are fully NVG equipped and are fitted with Fastrope devices, winch, FLIR, and downlink to name a few. As a pilot you will participate in winching, fast roping/rappelling, airborne sniper ops, NVG operations and a wide range of tactical police ops. The Victoria Police Air Wing is based at Essendon Airfield in a large modern complex with facilities including a fully equipped gymnasium and an Elite helicopter synthetic trainer. This is a stable home based position working in a dynamic environment for a large well-resourced organisation.

You will need to have the following minimum qualifications to be eligible to apply:
  • Current Commercial Helicopter Pilot Licence
  • Holder of current Class 1 Aviation medical
  • Minimum 2000 Helicopter flying hours with turbine experience
  • Minimum of 1500 Pilot in Command hours (Helicopter)
  • Hold a Command Multi-Engine, (Helicopter) Instrument Rating
  • Hold a Night Visual Flight Rules Rating (NVFR)
  • Hold a Low Level Rating (LL)
  • Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia
Desirable:
  • Hold an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
  • Winch and Rappel endorsement with experience in winch operations
  • NVIS Rating with experience in NVIS operations
  • Police and or SAR experience
  • AW139 experience

Search & Rescue Services Limited is looking for Helicopter Crewman to join our busy Hamilton-based Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter team. As a crewman you will also provide medical support to our Intensive Care Paramedics.

As a dedicated Emergency Medical Service (EMS) provider, Search & Rescue Services Limited is required to operate its helicopters on a 24/7 basis, 365 days a year.
