December 2017 Rotorheads Desktop Calendar

Well Folks,

Here we are ... wondering where all those shopping days until the Holiday Formerly Known as Christmas went ....

My present this year was emails from Gordy, Alen and Bob ... each containing wonderful pictures. They will be used. For the first time in a long while I felt like Prince Harry ... naked, in a nightclub (that looked curiously like my office), but loved by all. Well three people anyway.

Given the heatwave here in Oz I have gone with the more cooling scene. This image, courtesy of Bob Brett is nothing short of sensational. So good in fact that I wondered if I had taken it when I wasn't looking. It's stunning.

It looks like this ....

And you can download it here:

Please submit decent resolution (5MB is a good guide) pics to me at:

[email protected]

Be nice to each other. Stay safe,

This picture of G-TVAM was taken by Bernard Francois, our mountain guide, whilst with me in Bo105 G-BATC at the Mertz Glacier during the Antarctic Circumnavigation Expedition (ACE) run by the Swiss Polar Institute (SPI) earlier this year.

Glad to see G-BATC is still going strong. I see her in my logbook from 1992 in Aberdeen.
