Yes it is.

Yes, most of the court documents can be found here:

Plan and Disclosure Statement

Of note, Anthony DiNota, the latest Heli-One President has announced he is leaving on that day.

Nope. They've been operating in Australia for a few years now.

CHCHELI. Not much of a rebrand?. Time will tell if their new strap line "Reach Beyond" means anything or whether it's more of the same CHC "Reach Around"

Transmogrification

once upon a time the humming bird faced west ....then a likeable rogue of a magician changed it into a speed bird and turned it east...now it faces southeast (sort of towards Dallas I guess , or at least moving in that direction) Hope the current magician can perform wonders. Not for the glory of the great and mighty dollar which must be there , irrespective.... but for all the guys and gals at the coal face who have all made it what it is today from the era of Okanagan thru various transmogrifications , not forgetting the many major contributors (HS , Lloyd , Schreiner , Court , TAS , BAH etc etc)

Your teary eyed sentimentality is blurring your perception. There is no trace of Okanagan in the current CHC. HS is still HS, Schreiner in DH still Schreiner. CHC is an EASA standard company with no connection to the original Canadian roots, ethic, regulatory flexibility and competence. The closest to the old Okanagan would now be HNZ. Pass the tissues.

My first flight in a helicopter was in 1971 -- a spanking new 206 in Penticton. It was a typically clear blue Okanagan summer day. The pilot was Bud Tillotson. Some things we do play a crucial part in our lives, our memories, our future actions. Some things we do, though we had no inkling at the time, become part of our soul.

Outwest: Yes I noticed Karl is focusing on the Okanagan past , even up to the point our new email address signatures are in Okanagan orange. That's ok for me since I was with Okanagan when CHC was formed.

Maybe the reason Karl is focusing on Okanagan's past is because Okanagan was a large helicopter company that was purchased by a smaller one. I imagine in Karl's eyes selling a "big" company like CHC to a smaller company for a profit would be a dream come true.
