One of VF's last posts spoke of the real economic challenges of operating in Nepal. He hinted that he might be moving to a more 'normal' environment.
Wherever he and his family have moved to, all I can say is "Thank You!".

Get a load of people together and set up a new site which he can post on and all stop posting on here . If the management don't want us we can move .....

Rest assured he's enjoying his current abode, and some deserved time off. Perhaps nose buried in the books in anticipation of driving something a bit bigger and noisier.

Thank you for this update. I'm delighted to hear it.
VF really brightened our days with the glorious vistas he posted and the super down to earth images he balanced them with.
If he is gone, it is very much this site's loss.

I'm sure he felt the love from all, minus one.

Dear gulliBell
Would you mind to ask VF, if you could reveal the big secret you are hiding from us? One more hint and I track you down and ... and ... and I paint your fingernails pink ... with blue bunnies.
What is so secret about VF's new job? Avengers? Columbian import-export?
Or is he one of the Avengers now?

VF has been lurking around here occasionally, but has chosen to 'stay Mum' on the matter!

Namaste vertical freedom supporters Mr steven just contacted me, he can see everything on this forum and he can also log in. but he just cannot post here and cannot receive pm messages from this site or send them. What is the problem with Stevens posts? he has so many happy followers and good feedbacks, yet someone there doesn't like the following he receives and continues to block him? He asked me to say that he is on a extended holiday enjoy a tropical island life before returning to flying dutys

Thanks for the update, RB. I like everyone here miss his posts and find this forum and indeed all of PPRuNe a bit poorer for it. Take care and good luck, VF!

Rest assured to all here that VF is well fed and watered and is giddy with oxygen saturation and salt air in his present abode. As much as he would like to continue to contribute to the most popular topic in the Rotorheads forum (i.e. his own) regrettably he is blocked from doing so, but I'm sure he's thinking of you all.

I’m missing VF like crazy! He was a “Facebook friend” of mine and I loved following his adventures, family & so on, but he’s disappeared for some reason

Please, VF, come back or tell us where we can find you & your stunning photos. I’m fascinated with Nepal and I miss your posts so much there’s a gaping hole.

Namaste to you & yours VF

It's a computer glitch, either accidental or deliberate.

VF shows only one post against his nom de plume. The system is such that you cannot post pictures or use the PM facility until you have a certain number of posts.

Somebody in PPRuNe needs to reset his post count to what it is supposed to be..

Which to my way of thinking is poor spirit considering his contributions here over many years and thus he might be inclined to venture to other places to enjoy other pursuits. No-one would blame him for that. Enjoy the humidity and cold Bintang VF.

(At present VF can't post, or send/receive PM's)
Namaste Capt Bell and friends of Capt Vertical
I met Stephan last night and he would like me to pass on his appreciation to well wishers and supporters. His posts do not join a queue for approving, he cannot sendor receive the private messeges, he is blocked from any postings. Is there something we can do as a group to help get him put back on line so he can post great pictures again? thank you

I'm advocating to get him on a 412 as a consolation prize for his PPRuNe difficulties. Keep trucking away VF and the twin time will come soon, let's hope. At least you have the flight manual for now, study hard.
