Epic air pollution in the valleys but fresh air up high. Clouds start to form at 12:30 local time and by 2 in the afternoon everything is clouded out above 3500 m.

The most amazing thing I saw (besides the Yeti) was an R44 landing (and taking off) at ABC! I didn't know they live at 13,500' lol

Thanks again. Safe flights!
Most welcome....happy You enjoyed! Yep there are folks (Sherpas) living as high as 18,000'

Still great pictures Vertical, most impressive. I do wonder, since most post are (still) old pictures, could we have an update to your adventures, any chance you might ever move back to Nepal (I understand you left some time ago)? Cheers

G'day Fareastdriver.........Nepali road rules only require the Rider to be wearin' a Bonedone, pillions not? The Maoists repealed the law for PAX to be wearing as it increased crime....apparently

This needs the technician

The other "wires" VM has to watch out for. Second longest suspension bridge in Nepal - 287 metres.

Namaste Mate... hey it's been a while since we got back, but we were overseas for another 5 weeks and didn't download the pics. Shame we missed you in KTM - Thanks to your missus' company for organising a truly amazing time - Fortunately due to the expert guide, we didn't need a medevac in the ~500km of trekking!

The kids are still on a high - The middle boy will always be able to say he turned 10 at Everest

What a place to fly!

What has happened to VF?
His new job obviously prevents him from posting.
But in regards this wonderful thread, it would be nice to know one way or the other if it has come to an end ??

With only one post he cannot publish pictures so he has probably concluded that he is wasting his time.

Namaste, yes this is correct! Mr Steven has told me few days ago that he is blocked from posting as he posted pictures of family and food which is not helicopter related. He is happy to post and wants to but is blocked by this site.. It appears this rule applies only to him. I miss his pictures and humor.

Rules are rules, but with such a popular thread, the moderators should realize they are low life pieces of **** with an axe to grind for no other purpose than being class A dickheads. Change the rule.

I want VF back, I lived vicariously thru him.

I'll Second that statement. VF is in an area that I will never make it too to see but am happy to see it thru his eyes. Although I do question some of his spicy food choices but then again all of us had cast iron stomachs at one time.
