Calm down he is just winding us up & possibly asking for a raise for meal vouchers.
If I am mistaken it is a poor show on the part of the mods to drive one of the more interesting threads away
Always look at it first for a laugh or wonder how does he do that

Don't worry about it...my intelligence operatives know where VF is hiding out and they'll have the thumb screws on him very soon. Once he's depressurised in their hyperbaric chamber and force fed charcoal corn bread and green chilli he'll be back to his old self. Stay tuned.

Thumbs up BOOM how much can a Koala bare? Another happy Customer

The responses here are overwhelming, I need to get another cylinder of CO3 to suck on

Crikey pilotmike.......You're now scaring me But I Love Your work, You've a sense of humour as warped as mine I think I'd rather hang the tail over a ledge than pick up the shreds of someone wandering through my Rotorables Let the Engineers get some abseiling equipment
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hoy gulliBell.....Mate that being said, sling-loading at 20,000 fathoms in the Mariana Trench ain't no walk in the park, it's always NVFR & the CO3 gives me the giggles (in all the wrong places)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey there Good Business Sense.....Come orn Mate, this is at home
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Evening Georg1na.....can't say I'm in the know about that

G'day heli.......try some 30 post deletions of mine in recent months not sure how many of others postings? Maybe it's technical glitches, but it's far too many, way outside my comfort zone If this was a flying operation I'd have bugged out long ago
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Haaar claudia.......thank You for your kind words, Bless Your cotton socks

I thought it was an April Fools day joke to start with, but I'm guessing you're serious! (and you talked about deleting thread on 2nd April, not the 1st)

This thread is one of the main reasons I read PPRune these days. Keep it going VF!

I do hope you’ll stay VF. For me, this has been the most enjoyable thread on prune for some considerable time and is the only reason I visit this site (and then look at some other threads, most of which turn out to be the usual infighting between the usual perpetrators). Whilst not every post on the thread is interesting, the vast majority are thoroughly enjoyable and I have never found a single one offensive or unacceptable. Keep up the good work VF

The only Thread I follow over years!
Great insights not only into flying in a demanding area but also into the 360 degrees around, from people to animals!
Keep on and donˋt let anybody hassel you! !

The deco-chamber dancing gals charge by the 0.6 hour, Nepalese rupee not accepted. And their Hobbs meter always runs fast. Sorry, not in the budget I'm afraid. You'll just have to stick with the tall green bottles for company, preferably fizzy and cold, but not as fizzy as the CO3 you snort, or as cold as Makalu camp 6.

VH would hate to see your thread stop , one of the only reasons I log onto PPRuNE these days is to check your site and see what new pictures you have posted.

YES, I really enjoy the pictures from such a remote country and challenging flying environment
hard to imagine a pilot and a machine operating daily in extreme condition, altough , I am sure, must be beautiful on sunny days.

Hi VF, I hope you will change your mind and keep your thread going. It's one of the best I know- mountains, helis, people, places, humour, food and tractors. It's great to see what you're seeing, doing and flying in a remote, beautiful country. It's an amazing slice of life and great to see, all while giving us an idea what you do for a livin'
