BALPA Industrial Action questions

Two simple questions:

Has BALPA ever allowed any UK helicopter company to ballot for industrial action?

Has BALPA ever allowed any UK helicopter company to actually take industrial action?

I was thinking of more in recent (ten-ish) years. After the BALPA/Virgin pay deal hoo-ha. Will the BALPA NEC actually let anyone strike anymore?

if the members request a ballot and there is strong enough feeling, there may be a ballot. It's such a long winded legal process to be able to strike nowadays, I feel the companies just laugh it off. from an ex balpa rep!

FBHeliservices aircrew (RAF Shawbury) a few years ago balloted and were on the verge of industrial action, we had announced our days of action, had the placards prepared and brazier ready and it all changed at the last moment when a better offer was received.
