VF,

You beat me to it.

I would be happy to fly one around AUS for a few months and test it out in our "harsh" environment ! (Beaches, lunch, mountains etc)...

Looks great...hope it performs as good as it looks...unlike other pretty helis out there.

Angel Marenco Rocks

Hey Arrj

Oz ain't that harsh, been there done that.....Nepal has sand, ice, bull dust, snow, mud & crazy high DA's at crazy high landing altitudes 16,500' for a Jettie & 24,400' in B3+

We actually need a higher working machine........the B3's top out around 25,000'

Happy Happy

Is there already any statement on scheduled certifaction date, public availability and pricing?

On their web site there's nothing, as it seems.

Hard to give such precises info when you are an all new company developping an all new product.

Regarding safety (my personnal obsession) The SH09 seems to bring real progress in its category so I wish her all the best !

HH don't anticipate the future. The certification of a new product is a very challenging business.
Wait and see.

And even after certification it will be all about how it performs in the real world and the quality of support.

That being said hat's off to whoever is financing this venture! Very courageous!

Lots of activity for Marenco at HAI, with one operator putting down an order for 12 machines.

Rebranded as 'Kopter' earlier this year - they are aiming to deliver the first ships in 2019. Performance said to be excellent, with ~25,000ft ceiling, and lots of unlimited life components.

Still has a long way to go before production/certification, but has potential.

Helitrans in Norway ordered 12 confirmed and think options on 6. Paradise Helicopters in Hawaii ordered 4 and Elling Halvorson I think 4 for their Rainier Helilift business. Safomar in South Africa also ordered two.

I think I actually much preferred the name Marenco, Kopter feels like a name for the 12 year olds to me.
