Oh my goodness.
The Flightless Bird reigns supreme.
Let’s hope all the Poms get sent home.
However the Kiwi’s are killing this country because they are cheap? , wonderful, ?
Those Bean Counters in St Georges Terrance could not care less……their retirement package is all they care about. (remeber they are from Europe, on loan!!)
The Aussie Pilot suffers again.
Bring your local member to task you wimps, before you retire flying that wonderful R22. (They are just cruising with their thumbs tightly secured)
Bet you don’t.
LMN.

God Bless Australia
You might find that the 'flightless' bird employs more than a few Aussies.
Don't let the truth get in the way of a good yarn though.
I think you will find that there are more seats for suitably qualified 'Aussie' drivers than there has ever been.
Putting a stop to boat people and Trans Tasman refugees aint gonna put you in the seat of a Super Puma if all you've done is 200 hours around the Rock in a 44.
Instead of removing the 'thumbs' to whine about immigrant labour to your local member, do an exam or two... naaa it exams are hard, just blame everyone else instead!
Has Woodside actually been awarded or you lot fishing for bites... like the one above ?

CHC look like they have the dubious pleasure of bending over and taking it in the ass from Woodside.
Better get used to nominating the stairs a week in advance!

Extra Jobs????
So does this mean extra jobs??? Does this new contract call for extra aircraft to what Bristow supply now?? And will Bristow pilots just jump on over to CHC????
Just wondering how this will affect the Aussie job market...

Correct me if I'm wrong but the language used doesn't seem to definitively state that CHC have the contract?
Assuming that they do, as far as I know they are pretty over the top with drivers for current work. There's bound to be some movement at the station but not as much as might be hoped.
Woodside has the potential to grow though, so maybe in a couple of years there will be a greater need.

The winner is...
CHC has won the Woodside contract to commence as of June 2011 with 6 aircraft 4 x EC225s and 2 x AW139s aircraft based out of Karratha and various other bases along the Northwest Shelf of Australia...

You won't be so happy once you have started working for Woodside!
From friends at Bristows, it's the best contract they could ever have lost. CHC may have gone in cheap, but all they have done is bought themselves a big, costly headache.

Woodside probably wouldn´t be a difficult client if the marketing departments would stop over selling the aircraft and agreeing to terms that are difficult to meet once you start operations.
