Yeah forgot to say we're in EU so would require STC for any mods. NZ do provide a sliding kit and right pedal extension but I don't think it's EASA approved?
We currently have the dart floor window with mirrors and tend to use 50ft longline. This is ok but can be tricky to see the load! Wind blows the hook back but the mirrors quite handy to get the empty hook to the ground crew hand.
I just think the Max Pilot View Kit is an expensive option and you would need quite a bit of work to justify the cost - most guys I speak to just get on with the job and use the floor window, door off is a good option too.

Probably in Africa, or where doors off is the norm. Up north and in vinter with 20 below, forget about this kit. The best kit hands down is the Swiss MPVK! Costly, yes, but there is no kit better for the 350, and from a HSE point of view it is better than all other options.

I've always just used the floor windows, the bigger the better. Prefer 120-150 foot line. I find 20-30 pounds up where the passengers feet would be helps a lot with the visibility, I usually throw my survival kit there. I generally leave the door on as well.
