Controlled Ditching - Change in SOP's

Gents

Has anyone experienced a change in their companies SOP's regarding 'land as soon as possible' or 'land or ditch immediately' in the event of MGB failure and the like?

If so, are we going to see an increase in controlled ditching incidents over the next few years? Yes it would be a shame to see plenty of $ worth of helicopter floating (for a few hours at best) in salt water, but as a passenger give me a controlled ditching over a situation when the blades end up failing to turn.
