Zenon
Hi All
I received an email from Zenon asking me to sign a contract with them.
It says that they will charge for any job i might get, even if the employer hires me direct.
Has anybody had any experience with them? Is it a good idea to do it?
many thanks
HM

That sounds like a legal scam to me. Unless they're guaranteeing you a job (within a certain time) once you've signed up, forget it. In the technology world, where agencies are a huge part of recruitment, they collect a finder's fee from the employer AFTER you're employed. If you pay to sign up (or pay after you've found yourself a job, with no help from them), you're paying them for nothing.
Personally, I'd tell them to go play with themselves in the traffic, but that's me.

sounds like they are playing on your desire to become employed......tell them that they must be mistaken but are free to take any fees from employer.
I didn't think a recruitment agency was allowed to charge prospective employee - ie scam.

Like many others here I've submitted my CV to Zenon (with more than the required qualifications)... and still waiting on a reply!!!! Well, actually not... cause this was a few years ago.
Good luck and think twice

Mailed my resume a few months ago, and got a form back to sign which I did. No reply after several inquiries. Not sure whether to keep on going or give up.
On the other hand, most chief pilots are in meetings or on the phone when you call anyway.

Ditto what Epiphany said about Zenon - complete time-wasters. They never return any calls or e-mails. Zero communication, zero respect for the applicants.
