@ Rotorsrule

Remember that we are in the middle of Ramadan so ADA's work pattern will be different from normal, in all probability. Ramadan finishes 28/29 Aug but there will then be the Eid holiday - another two or three days probably.

Wait until September maybe.

SEARCHTECH - Helicopter Pilot Instructors - UK

Does anyone know who's behind the SEARCHTECH trawl for 'Helicopter Pilot Instructors - UK' on page 46 of 23-29 August Flight International?

I can't find a listing in Flight Global Jobs and Searchtech's website re-direct to aviationjobsearch.com doesn't contain the ad either...curious.

CHC looking for Pilots in Europe

Have a look at chc.ca and follow the career prompts. They seem to have several vacancies in the UK and Norway.

Good luck

Have a minimum of 500 hours aeronautical flight time
Does that mean one can credit fixed wing time for copilot jobs at Weststar? Besides UK CAA, are there any 'acceptable' foreign licences for easy validation in Malaysia? I've been told that dealing with DCA is a pain/difficult.

Best asking Weststar direct but I know as part of a CPL(H) in Malaysia they make you do 50 hours fixed wing first then 100 hours Rotary (R44) before you are awarded with a Malaysian CPL(H).

So I would assume FW time counts. Again tho asking HR at Weststar is probably best.

Cheers

Why would a HEMS CP need NVG time? Do they have aspirations of 24hr HEMS?

Apparently, if you go to the link in my previous thread you can search for pilot jobs and apply right there and then. Have an up to date cv on your computer when you do it and you should be good to go.

Wow! I don't think I've got what it takes to be a pilot at Bristow - the on-line application is harder than an ILS to Filton followed by and NDB to Gloucester

All sound like questions for the interview

Roster - non commuting, pay uk average, hours - circa 250 per year. None of this is confirmed, but what i've heard.

good luck. Pas

wingnut,

you are not too old, they will tend to look at how much is it going to cost them to get you online as the first consideration.

so do you have a ME IR or SE IR?

also depending on the company you need to pass pyschometric testing / psychologist interview / panel interview.

so are you are nutter or a steady sort of chap?
