Cool Bell 412/212 Training

Hi all,

I am looking for somewhere to undertake a Bell 212/412 Type rating course.

I have searched the forum but to no avail and the CAA web site only lists
4 212s and 2 412s .

Bristows web site mentions that they have experience in these types but does not list a type rating in these types.

It doesn't necessarilly have to be JAR training as I could do it through my FAA licence

If the price was right i would be willing to travel to do the course.

Any help you could give me would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

Maybe you could save yourself some $$$ by going to the Middle East and getting a rating from either Aero Gulf in Dubai, Gulf Helis in Doha or Abu Dhabi Aviation in Abu Dhabi.
Then you can spend a little time there enjoying the Arabic culture, +100* temperatures, get a few hours of offshore under your belt then BAIL OUT like hundreds have before you. Good Luck.

412 IR

Does anyone know where I might be able to get a 412 IR in the UK? Has to be a CAA approved FTO...

Got the type rating already.

Thanks!

I understand that Alan Mann at mailto:[email protected] offer training on the Bell 412, though when you do it, do the 212 differences course at the samee, it should only add a week to your course.

TRTO

Winchin Out

Try these folks....TRTO...But they're very busy with the commercial season and may not have a machine available. But worth a call....

Ask for Dennis or Robert...Both fluent English speakers and nice guys...

Alan Mann 212/412

No, unfortunately they do not. Definitely not! Try Bristow or FBH for a professional job ~ VFR

I believe that Bristow have recently put the 212/412 back on their TRTO approvals; call Bristow at Aberdeen.
FBH do not currently offer a civilian course on either variant.
There is also a JAR TRTO in Croatia: Zagreb, I think.

There's no JAR FCL2 TRTO in Croatia which offers B212 TR at this moment...actually there is no a helicopter TRTO nor FTO in Croatia at all

As for the Bristow, I have called Aberdeen about an year ago for the B212 TR and they had no helicopters available...

I contacted FBH to find out that they only do military or government training contracts, not individuals.

Guess you have to look further.

212/412 Ir

Hi,

I am a current mil pilot with a Jaa CPL type rating on the Bell 212, looking to obtain a Jaa IR on type. Already checked the links above but with no joy.

Advice on current JAA Organisations and IRIs would be appreciated.

Regards,
