Fire near Pocatello, Idaho using our portable "heli-well" which we use when there is no rivers or streams really close, or if we are in an urban interface area...

And from inside:

Credit for the first two pictures go to our forest aviation officer.

Just my $0.02, normally I would agree, but have to disagree in this case VF.... The videos are related to the pictures, and therefore should be co-located.

So Gordy - -is their a Pink Panther detective in the house that might be allowed to ask, -

"Is that the soon to be Mrs Gordy sitting pensively watching her clever boyfriend with the big chopper from the safety of the long grass with something shiny on the third finger of her near side hand?"

Unfortunately there is a strand of grass right in the way of the crucial area where the big rock should be.

Otherwise why does MG come up on a save of the photo?

der dump de dumm.

Logan hotshots Gordy ?
Nope, although most of my crew are former shots... Laurel--second from left in this pic is a former Logan shot---the others were mostly from Snake River shots apart from Robert (missing from pic) who was the supe on Cedar City for many years.

topendtorque....

Good detective work but you got duped...the girl watching me dip, is Cindy...third from the right in the pic above..... The identification in the url is from the filing system of Bob, the photographer.....

Seeing as it has generated interest....here she is yours truly:

Battle of Britain Memorial, Dover, Kent, England.

Public flights for close formation with Spitfires and Hurricanes. So close that you can hear that gorgeous Merlin Engine roaring away over the sound of the Turbine.
