Sorry it's more scenery than helicopters
No need to apologise.
This thread has always been for photographs taken from helicopters around the world as well as of helicopters.

Have you ever had the door fly open in an outhouse on that line? Gets spinning like a hydro seeder.

Yes they do....had to let this one "kiss" the ground to get the spinning stopped.....

Yes B'ye, there ya have it.

At least the load gets progressively lighter as the trip goes on. The receiver certainly lets the sender know how to lock the deadbolt the next time they see each other.

This power plant is on the Ohio river (KY/IN boarder). Was about to get in close to take a Lidar Scan of the sub station, as well as photo imagery.

I hoped to get some better photos, but having cleared my chosen spot with two of the many police, at the last moment a bicycle cop decided I had to move: hence the average shots! Anyway, here are some of the shell game VMX-1 play when bringing POTUS into the White House today

These scanned photos were taken with a cheap camera and a bad photographer, so nowhere near the quality of others on here. But nevertheless hope you enjoy...

London heli route December 2010 before the snow came:

Parliament square, "Big Ben" (St Stephen's Tower) in the foreground, Treasury to the rear right

Bush house skating ring

West on H4. "The Shard" under construction here is 1,000 ft high. Behind it (in the distance) the London Eye. In the foreground Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast and the London Assembly building

And Leeds Castle (I know, not on the heli route!)

Earl;
correct, no winching was performed. It would also have been a tricky feat as the helicopter was not winch equipped... Check the first picture.
It was for assessment only.
