Posting images is dead easy once someone has shown you how. If you right-click on any image, it will show you the image properties. Highlight the image location (http://something) and copy this into your post, using either the picture icon (or IMG tags).
Easy peasy, see?

For those who need step by step instructions:
For those who need step by step instructions:
- Right click on the image. NB: On the actual image, not the web page it's on.
- Select 'Properties' from the menu.
- Highlight the entire web address (URL) of the picture. Always start from the beginning or you may not get all of a long url.
- Right click on the highlighted data and 'Copy'
- Begin your post as normal.
- Click on the button.
- A prompt appears, with an address line. (It will contain "http://" in dark blue. Ignore that - it will be overwritten by the URL you insert)
- Right slick on the address line and select 'Paste'.
- Click 'OK'
- Depending upon what editing mode you have, you'll then see either the picture or a code. (Doesn't matter which.)
- Add some info about the picture. eg Type, location, activity etc
- Press 'Submit Reply' as normal.
- Easy as
-
- It's usually possible to direct link to pictures, but not always.
-
- Do not link to pictures with website names, business names, copyright notices etc.
-
- The down side of this method is that if the picture is removed from the original source, it will disappear here. eg Pictures from news items tend to have a limited life.
