Yea the same.... The pilot must be near qualified though because you only raise them that high when your getting fairly good !!

One bit is a twin-sensor gyro-stabilised camera most likely fitted with normal video and IR.

The other bit looks like a bull**** drain for the crap that comes from the left seat.

And the flag indicates that they have a diver onboard.

I hope you're not pulling my leg

It's a FLIR turret. Probably has low-light TV as well. Since it doesn't appear to be mounted on an attach helo, it probably doesn't have targeting systems as well.

I'm not sure but my money would be on "bb in ca"'s suggestion. Probably a homing antenna for emergency beacons.
