Didn't Wright Patent Shakespear Racing used to have a EC130 (your old heli)?
Why have you changed it for the same thing again? Hours?

I take it in the meantime you are hiring another one or are you on extended Gardenleave? Or are you making the most of young married life?

Then again you can tell to mind my own beeswax.

Typically EC can build one of these things in a week or less. Completion P & I can take (as we see in this case) 4 months.

Its a bit like a Porsche, buy it drive it for a year, sell it for a profit!

There are a few aircraft like that out there. EC130 EC135 demand seriously exceeds supply!

In helicopter savvy NZ there are customers on their 3rd or 4th B4/B3 doing exactly the above.

MADY : Yes the WPS EC130 was my 'old' machine. I've been given a direction that the aircraft is not to run out of warranty prior to delivery of the next one. In fact I need to order the next one very soon as there is currently a 3 year wait for a new EC130.

Brilliant stuff : Not hiring a new one, except for the odd job here and there. I am currently flying a Bobcat at one of our vineyards whilst our new 130 is assembled! As for making the most of married life I'll leave that up to your imagination!

Good work seeing as though you havent even taken the "how to build" instructions off the windscreen yet! I can't even put a lego one together.

Capt Hollywood these pictures are uncannily like that super project that you were involved with, the R88.

I think the PPruners would like to know the progress on the now almost forgotten R88.

That's not the instructions on the window, it's the invoice!

Are you sure you're building this ...

... it seems less complete than when the stork delivered it!

The seats are out being retrimmed in black leather and the standard avionics package is being upgraded.

What does your wife think about you building the helicopter in her kitchen?

Hey Capt H,

The cockpit console even comes with a kitchen sink! Serious question-What is the differance between an EC120 and an EC130?
