Cool Alan Szabo - Ridiculous RC heli skills

Hi all,

Just came across this guy on YouTube etc and couldn't find any references to him here. I thought it would be of some interest (!).

Clunk! (sound of lower jaw hitting floor). That's knowing your envelope intimately, and using 99.5% of it.

The Szabo brothers must have inherited the genes from their dad, who flew heli's too and now acts as agent and mechanic for them. Someone also mentioned Curtis Youngblood, he used to set the bar for 3D flying, the style of flying you see in the video. The power to weight ratio of these things is awesome, I just wish I could get enough airtime on mine to get to that standard.

Here is Alan competing at the 3D Masters which is the world Champs of 3D, to his own music:

And another one:

If you want to see more vid's like this try Augusto's archive:Augusto video archive

This is the biggest hole in the ground to throw money into, short of having kids. MMMM wonder if the missus will notice ANOTHER £2000 heli in my den?

Somebody ought to teach him how to fly it properly, he didn't seem to be able to hover at all.
