Wake up Brissy and get out of the 19th century!
Obviously they didn't take notice! Which museum did that come from or is this the new letterbox?

Mmmm ....

Absolutely amazing that in this day and age they would try to utilise an 'antique' Bo 105 CBS for this tasking ....

Have to wonder just who arranged this ... and how much money was he paid?

In the Queensland summers (and probably the winters as well) this machine will have 'bugger all' useful payload ...

Good luck Queensland Police ... your going to need it !!

Thumbs down Rort

Have to agree with you Spinwing...

It's being run by Surf Life Saving QLD who have no business being in aviation...

The QLD Government need to get proactive and dedicate a real machine to the SE QLD region.

Mind boggles on who is making the decisions on these dinosaurs and who's getting the back handlers..

I feel sorry for the Boys in Blue who have been conned into believing that their machine will actually fly OEI...

Never flown a BO, but pretty sure they are powered by Alison's? There are masses of Bell Helicopters falling out of the sky due to their Alison engines failing or answer B I think a lot more effort could go into the things that are really creating difficulties in the industry, like CFIT, Human Error etc rather than being so concerned about the mighty big OEI monster.

Are there better platforms, without a doubt. The 135 / 145 family are fantastic. Will this help to catch/deter the dickheads that cause the trouble for the law abiding public - absolutely. Good luck to them I say and I wish them all the best. No I don't live in Queensland, it is too cold for me.

What happened to the EC135 that EMQ 'donated' to SLSQ?
