One more method after right-click is to "Save picture as ", you can then place it in any file on your hard-drive,(or a memory-stick, and can then move it to other computers you may have).
You can set as wallpaper by selecting 'browse' from the menu for wallpapers and selecting the file where you saved it. That way you can keep the piccie for as long as you want to.

April calendar
The calendar is available here for April. A nice international effort, with a photo taken by a UK contributor, of an Italian helicopter, in Finland (Hosted in Australia, too!)
A request was made last month for a version with the week starting on Monday: that one is available here.
High res image here (Sunday).
If you're on dial up, it's about 0.75mb, so expect time enough to go and make a coffee while it's downloading

Many thanks to John Eacott in Melbourne for producing this month's calendar and to Head Turner for providing the picture.
We're always looking out for new pictures we can use for the monthly calendar so please keep posting them in our Rotorheads Around the World collection.

VEMD
Do you mean the quality of the picture (resolution etc) or the subject itself?
As I said above, we're always looking for pictures to use for the calendar - if you have some from your part of the world, please post them.
Note:
It's true we have lots of superb pictures in our 'Rotorheads Around the World' collection, but not all of them are suitable for enlarging to full screen size.

Hi VEMD, I am sorry that the picture of the Koala is not to your liking. Incidentally it was taken by a Russian, in Finland of an English pilot flying an Italian helicopter having just dropped of a party of Polish, Estonian and Lithuanian people.
And I think it's a pretty good picture.

Since VEMD hasn't indicated whether the photo quality, or the subject, is "very low". I've uploaded a higher res image here (Sunday) . If you're on dial up, it's about 0.75mb, so expect time enough to go and make a coffee while it's downloading
If it is the subject quality that is "very low"....tough luck

The best way for Windows users on dial-up connections to download the calendar is:
Right-click on the link in John's post
A drop-down menu will appear
Select 'Save target as .......' to save the pic to your hard-disk
Open the picture file
Right-click on the picture
A drop-down menu will appear
Select 'Set as background.......'

Personally, I think the quality's fine and I like the picture.
I recall reading a flight test of this aircraft in Flyer magazine a while back, lots of good words said about it.
