Wonder how much the extra cost will offset from the D2....for operators in this case.

Good to see that you think that was the root cause. Why are the aircraft that have boxes that haven't been involved in RTA's not flying, or more precise not approved for use by O&G majors?
When I did the math, it just proved that Didi was spot on, but the marketing decisions are not up to the test pilot... They offer increased GM of 3.800kg for 145D2 and D3, but they had to sell D3 somehow. So it comes as "standard" 3.800 kg GM with the upgraded "rotor" model.
It is a smoother ride, but that is it. No performance upgrade according to the AH brochure charts.

Anyone flown with this newly offered H145 SB - passive anti vibration device (SARIB) - yet? Would be interesting to know if it really makes such a big difference as they claim (58% reduction!?).

Its slightly better, but some complain about their feet feeling numb, cause of the different vibrations between body and feet touching the floor.
Our Union made Tests together with an university and had some remarkable findings about work safety and times, which shouldn’t be exceeded while flying NVG in an H145
With Sarib longer times are actually possible- but only on the vibration side.
Bending muscles out of the normal operating range while looking down hasn’t been taken in account yet
