Whoah!

Where was this Graculus when we needed him, perhaps as Co-Chairman of the BRC Escape Committee?

To integrate news of the Slough of Despond with extensive quotations from the Immoral Bard... what is this man smoking?! I have to ask because I want some too. And if he winds up peeples that just want to know about the jobs, boring old pay and conditions, as if they have to ask, so much the better.

You need to come, come. Then you find out what it brings and a bit later what it costs and a little bit later than that you start liking it, may God have mercy on your soul.

You know, I always had the oddest feeling that Harry was faking those headaches but if the doctors couldn't say for sure, who could? Never mind, I am sure he can cause some genuine ones for sure. Like unto the pain of wearing pointy-toe shoes or flying a full program the day after a night of too much pepper soup...

At least the Caverton-DanCopter boys are too professional and dedicated to waste their time posting here.

I find it amusing that de Smell Management also lack ability to refrain from posting on here - maybe they have to much time on their hands between the golf course and de bar?

Err...

Maybe they cannot find this well-hidden spring of secret knowledge? Well, not yet, anyway!

I remember a certain Dane, yclept Eric the Red, staring up at me, equally short of temper and short of stature as he was, when I noticed that he literally had gin leaking out of his beard! There I had fancied myself as some sort of toper but I suddenly realised that next to this Scandihooligan I was a mere stripling youth of no consequence whatsoever.

Stand by for some wild stories when the truth of pay and conditions begins to bite, the late-model E-series Merc company car unmasked as a Bajaj three-wheeler and the deluxe accomodation with pool shown to be an Ikeja hovel with a pool, yes, but just a pool of rainwater on the living room floor.

Never mind those migraines, Harry, when Eric Bloodaxe massages your bonce with a war axe improvised from a bottle of Gulder.

Graculus, I did once go to see Hamlet performed at Elsinore (Helsingor). Does that count for anything here?

The Vikings are coming, the Vikings are coming ....

... In the lands of the North, where the Black Rocks stand guard against the cold sea, in the dark night that is very long the Men of the Northlands sit by their great log fires and they tell a tale...

... a blasted heath, home to the Cavers Tomb....

... Hrothgar ... we have flown our great clockwork flying boats (the B1 version with wings of leather, not your B version with feathered wings). The clockwork wound we set forth on our journey wisely hurrying to avoid the season of magic snuff, when the mighty storms upon our route feigned to dash us into the cruel sea by the vast snuff plains ...

... and here, our mighty poet, Beowulf dids't sit and a poem write to please our belov-ed loav8r ...

The noble Hrothgar passed
over narrows, lonely paths,
steep, stony slopes
on that unknown way
among steep bluffs
and the homes of water monsters.

He and the wise men
went before the rest
to scout the place,
and suddenly, he saw
a joyless woods leaning over
turbid and bloody water.
For all the Danes
it was grievous, and
the warriors suffered
when they on the sea
cliff saw Aeschere's head.
The water boiled with blood
and hot gore as the men watched.

... to Lagos we have come and oh! ... ... nis Þaet heoru stow!

... Where are the ducky maidens and waving palms? Where are the hanging poles for our horn-ed flying helmets?

... We are Geats and here is our leader Hrothgar, take us to our Great Hall that we may sup and eat delicious almond kransekake from Madsen ...

... what is this Lodge of Blue?

My dear chap it is ever so simple, when the workers are busy and properly directed one can step back and focus on influencing the industry more widely for the greater good.

DanCopter's EC155s are close to arriving and will help move the whole SPDC fleet to more advanced, new technology aircraft, aircraft.

Remember 7/7=1!!!!

No doubt the commonality will help raise the serviceabilty massively. Roll on 1 October I say. Then the true effect of the Shell masterplan will be seen.

Any way must dash off (ha ha) and play around (ha ha) to keep my handicap down (ha ha).

Wink Our Core Values

CanDoctor A/S provides helicopter transport of personnel and material from base to offshore installation. Our three core values are:

Safety

We continue to strive towards that accidents and environmental spill remain 0 by spending much time sitting in Esbjerg and searching for pilots and technicians for Nigeria while enjoying some lovely almond kransekake from Madsen washed down with a few delicious ice-cold AALBORG JUBILÆUMS Akvavit.

Precision

We are precise through our experience, competence, and professionalism, though after a few Akvavits we have been known to be a bit less precise as we sing our Gamle Danske Sang and seeing becomes more difficult as our toque blanche slips just a little...

Vi elsker vort land,
når den signede jul
tænder stjernen i træet med glans i hvert øje,
når om våren hver fugl
over mark under strand
lader stemmen til hilsende triller sig bøje:
vi synger din lov over vej, over gade,
...

Ah yes, what a yolly song and then we take the chicken, we use the boomashootn we kill him and put her in the pot ...

... Børk! Børk! Børk! ..... ..... ..... ah that vit of akva, it has a vit of its own

We are considered and focused except when our eyes become a littel glazed and unfocussed and then when we perform and we consider the implications of our adding chocolate to our core values, because every Dane love some chocolate Yom-yom-yommm, mit de chocolad de akvavit and all de kontraktes ...

Flexibility

We can adapt to an operation in and around the North Sea in just a couple of days. Nigeria is very similar, but before this we need to factor in the akvavit, the kransekake the moshroams and all the things we will miss so much and then maybe a couple of months is what we need ...

...

gaar en glans over jord -
Det er genskær af vidunderlandets fortryllende enge,
- fra sagnrige nord
gaar en glans over jord -
Det er genskær af vidunderlandets fortryllende enge!

...

.. exuent stage left - loudly with much sobbing

Smell Master Plan

To Shell Management,

I have no axe to grind with Smell, having been indirectly involved with them since the days of Douglas Bader and Fison Airwork, they provided my family with a very regular income. Not everyone agrees with the way you do things, but you pay the wages at the end of the day so operators have to live with it. It is a known fact the EC155 operation has been a lost leader for Bristows for years so maybe its time for a change!

I wish you good luck with your new venture but dont forget over 50 years of joint operations going down the pan is not going to be taken well by some

Any sign of the DanCopter aircraft arriving?

SM - a 'joint' operation with Shell is 6, 11, 12 or 27 in my opinion.

3 of DCs own EC-155, so one is still to arrive, and 6 EC-155 lease from shell. In all 9 EC-155, 3 in Lagos, 3 in Warri and 3 in PH. This is until 2012, then the fleet will be reduced to 6-7 AW-139.

Bhl/shell

To Shell Management,

Actually it was Fison Airwork that was operating for Shell in 1957, and Shell did not know anything about helicopters tbh - so I would call that a joint operation - both pioneering helicopters in the oil business. You really need to take chill pill and accept the fact that BHL might actually know a little bit about operating helicopters.

You might want to consider the fact that SM is a wind-up merchant!

Don't know what the flying rate is like now, but 5-6 years ago, out of the 6 Shell EC155s, one was always in base maintenance at PH and when possible the engineering manpower for that was supplemented by Warri.

9 aircraft in 3 different locations and at least one always in base maintenance (and DC's original 155s are a similar age to Shells).....

where's all the type-rated manpower coming from??

Contract rates - T&Cs

Investigating offshore contract work off W.Africa
Would appreciate guidance on current rates and T&Cs.
What should one reasonably hope to include in contract etc

Additionally, which anti-malaria pills are appropiate for flying duties?

Did try the 'search' function but nothing 'current'
thanks in advance
