he’s responding to the post before yours. To be honest, I think your question would get better answers on the Bizjet, or African Aviation forums, as I doubt many helicopter pilots will know much about your requested details.

Caverton S76 B412 captains

Caverton is looking for pilots in Lagos and Port Harcourt.

Anyone know what the current conditions are like with Caverton? Salary, rosters, accommodation, etc...

Is it true that the BRC Ikeja is no more ? A little birdie told me BHNL had moved to another site in the GRA. The reason people were always given for the continued presence in such an impractical over priced location was that it belonged to one of the Nigerian directors.

Thanks 212man. I don't do any social media whatsoever anymore so the FB reference won't help. I guess you know about the passing of two former Tiger men, one pilot and one engineer ? Notice they haven't been notified anywhere on here.

Hi Chaps

Dave White sadly passed 26th June 2019, I had the privilege of attending his funeral in Swindon 26th July during which by pure coincidence a 'Tug' and glider passed over head as the Cortege arrived at the crematorium, this was not planned but made for quite an emotional touch for those that knew of Dave's love of gliding.

Regards

I ran into Dave a couple of times while doing some gliding in the UK on Leave.

I very much enjoyed his company over the years.

Good to hear from Stacey.....the only time in my life I have seen "The Wizard of Oz" from start to finish was in his company at an upstairs Bar in Eket one evening.

The other stories shall remain confidential.

Still have some friends there. From what I hear it's a mess even though the guy who got them there has been fired recently.
Happened to go to their staff house in GRA last month. I've seen cleaner houses in Ajegunle where I went to retrieve my stolen car last year. And feels like Allen Avenue.
Don't know if they have restored salary cuts they made two years ago. I will find out.
Stay away.

if it is true, it will be via their local partner
Edit: I believe there is some validity to this

How are BHNL faring post ERA merger and with the virus ? When I left 5 years ago they were on the ropes, losing out to Caverton and a resurgent ACN.

Anyone in the know ? perhaps 212man ?

Cheers,

NEO

I'm not sure I would describe ACN as "resurgent" right now. I do believe that the new BHL board will have a lot lower tolerance to loss making BUs that the pre-Chapter 11 version.

What I can say, though, is Bristow pilots have been on strike for 3 days!

I’ll take a guess that not many expats are striking!
