last I saw one it was not with any operator insignia and was on a bizjet apron, so I guess it is doing ad hoc exec work.

You are aware, of course, that a couple (?) of ex Atlantic (CHC) AW139s are being operated by another operator on O & G?

Received another gem of "information" that could benefit from confirmation ?

I hear there are major differences between agencies, clients and contractors about the "New" Chevron Escravos contract; who is going to do the single engine part and who is going to do the engineering support ?

Anyone know ?

8/4, 6/3....what's it going to be?

Rumours out of PH that BHNL Management are changing from the dreaded 8/4 to 6/3 instead?! Joy of joys!

Who knows....they might go back to the good ol' days....TWO YEARS based in Lagos, .....with a work schedule of Two Weeks ON....One Week Off rotating between Operations as needed....then Six Weeks Leave between Two Year Contracts....for everyone.

8/4 was OK when nothing else was on offer (kept me away from the then wife which was an added bonus !). But then there was more to do and we weren't locked in compounds and travelling with Journey Management.

Hearing there are changes to the PAAN SMT ? A simultaneous departure and rapid promotion. A short appointment until the Escravos contract migrates perhaps ?

Anyone care to confirm/elaborate ?

A real game changer!

Nigeria: Unlicensed Helicopter Companies Jostle for NNPC Contracts - allAfrica.com

Maybe this is a portent of things to come? It's always so promising to see advancements in safety originating from the end users!

What is it this time ? Parity ? I thought that had been sorted ? Or is there something else that's p**sed them off ?

Neo,
I believe it is regarding parity, or at least is what I heard in the market last evening. It appears that everyone stayed in the BRC yesterday, even got a lunch ! ! !, but don't believe they were confined. You don't see many of them outside these days anyway except when they are on the bus.

Apparently its about the Nationals that were recently laid off. There are now only 31 (give or take) expats left in BHNL, and a lot of those are looking for a way out before the 8/4 roster starts in January.

Well it seems to be going from "Strange" to "Weird" .
I assume that it will soon descend into "Chaos"!
What comes after that ....?

Jeez I sure hope not but you may be correct.
Followed by "I told you so" then "Denial and cover up"
Plus the opening of a whole new thread.."Rumours, innuendo and hearsay"

Me too. But the rush to Nationalise due to government pressure has left a gaping experience gap. There are some very talented guys but they lack time in the role.

However I do look forward to the start of a "Rumours, innuendo and hearsay" thread !

It may be of interest to some of our readers, two EC155s arrived in Lagos last weekend by low loaders, followed a couple of days later by another (5N-BDM) flown in, all are parked in or close to the Evergreen hangar, haven't heard any stories about what is happening yet. The ones that came by low loader did not have MRH fitted and its not clear if they even MGBs fitted,so they may not be complete apart from all the fairings.
Perhaps NEO can throw some light here?
