Well, 5N-BDM is an ex-SPDC (Shell) machine which I delivered in May 2002. No idea eh it's up to now though, after its sale.

Ok then

I suppose that I should start paying more attention. I worked closely with these guys for 20 months and knew it was a matter of time.

Thanks NEO, but I'm still none the wiser about a name! I caught some info about a shipping company etc but as a Nigeria virgin, it was largely lost on me (no change there!).

Chicken? I've noticed the chicken is getting smaller, and a definite drop in the population of those black and white Pied Crows around the NAF base! No wonder you slimmed down there at the end, NEO. I myself gave up on the rat pies after breaking a tooth on a bit of metal in one of those delicious pies...

psyco,

I wish my slimming had been due to the chicken, unfortunately as you may or may not know it was due to a much better slimming plan. It even topped Weight Watchers !

But the chicken was pretty good when they first opened that place. Maybe it went downhill after I left.........

Happy New Year, NEO! Yes, I know how your weight loss plan worked. We spent many a late night at the Elelenwo bush bar together. Even a few evenings at the Lagos bar after your triumphant return! I once said to you it was your job to keep the customers happy, and my job to keep the pilots happy.

Yes, those nights were great fun, gone forever sadly. Tried very hard to keep the punters happy, difficult with my arms tied behind my back by a long gone SVP Ops in Houston.

Not many people knew it but we had a great MD in those days (I believe he's back there now), who was also getting his legs chopped off by the same man, otherwise we'd have gotten the support we needed.

Still, good social times with some outstanding guys.

Happy New Year Everyone !

Looking for recommendations for light turbine charter out of Accra for photo work. AS350 or AS355 ideal. West African Helicopters website seems to be down, and most of the others that I found searching PPRuNe seem to cater to O/G with larger machines than we need (and can afford).

Any leads? Thanks!

MikeNYC,
you have a couple of operators in nigeria that could contact . Accra from Nigeria is just a couple of hours flying.
Caverton Helicopter has two B2 that could be used for this job and
OAS helicopter has 355N and b2.
Cheers!
