Look Whirls

I just feel rather sorry for poor old Kurt. He didn't get an invite to the party and he doesn't get chatted up in the whole series.

Meanwhile, the male Doctors just walk around leaving a trail of pheromones and love struck females!

It just isn't fair!!

In that case TeeS, you're right. How do you know he doesn't his girl in the end? Are you telling me our heli hero doesn't partake of a romantic interlude at all? Well, that's so UN-lifelike that I won't bother to watch again. Even for Richard Armitage!

Cheers

Who would go out with a doctor nowadays - you would probably end up with MSRA

I'm sure the only reason the ladies are fighting over doc's and pilots is that there are no paramedics around!

So that would appear to be a general thumbs down then!

Still, there is always next week's program for a chance of improvement........

Devil

See the second program was no better than the first, very good comedy though, couldn't stop laughing !!!!

It's just a shame they portray the Hems team incorrectly.

Talking of the Hems team...............

Anyone who would like to sponser some mad coppers and paramedics who are walking coast to coast, Robin Hoods Bay to St Bees (191.5 miles) October 3-17 to raise money for the Hems Team please PM me, thanks.

(all silly comments accepted as I'm sure the above will generate them !!!! )

they always get there first on the program, its good to see HEMS getting publicity. I like the super cops on this program, calling a major incident plan as a constable first on scene.

Not going to waste time repeating previous comments but...

..calling a major incident plan as a constable first on scene.
In the paramedic/ambulance staff role the first attendant on scene will assume the role of incident officer until relieved by more senior staff and certainly could/would 'suggest' the instigation of a major incident plan based on what they see.

Also bear in mind a major incident is an incident which 'affect the normal day to day provision of ambulance/police/fire/etc services' so varies considerably depending where in the UK you are...

Underlining the general downer on this programme I see that London HEMS have posted this.... on their pages...

"London's Air Ambulance staff would like to make it clear that they were in no way involved in the 'dramatic' story lines of the ITV drama, 'The Golden Hour', and wish to disassociate themselves from the dramatic content of the programmes which they feel do not reflect the dedicated nature of the highly professional life saving service they provide to Londoners every day".

"London's Air Ambulance sincerely hopes that the public will not be confused between TV dramatic fiction and reality"

Andrew Cameron

Director
London's Air Ambulance

THAT bad!

From a local paper...............

""Throughout the making of the series, Chowdhry and fellow cast members Richard Armitage, Ciaran McMenamin and Zoe Telford were accompanied by their real-life counterparts.

"They were on set advising us when we did procedures. What was interesting was we were in awe of what they do, but they'd be there watching us and saying things like: 'God, I don't know how you do it. It's really good that you can remember the lines'.""

And that wasn't London HEMS I saw helping out with the shoots ? At Denham....c'mon chaps anyone with a bit of nouse doesn't sign up for these series without getting sight of the script.

Even the motor manufacturers get copies of the script before they agree to place cars with a drama series.

An indication of the lack of business sense behind HEMS ???
