737-200 startup

I have a question which has always bugged me from the first time I ever flew on a 737-200, it is as follows: Why does the 732 wait till after pushback before they start up the engines?:confused: Every other aircraft I've been on starts up as it's being pushed back but the 732 always seems to wait till after pushback. I just can't understand why so maybe someone in the know can help me here :ok:
