Altitud display on Radar Screen

Hi,

the newer altimeters send coded signals in increments of 50 or 100 feet, to be seen on ATC Radar's?

100 feet on all the radars I've seen.

Hi Tango Air,

I understand that mode S transponders will be able to send altitude readouts to the nearest 25 feet. Still 100 feet increments displayed on our radars at the moment.

probably to be used by new TCAS and not for ATC radar display!

On RVSM, 25 vs. 100 make's a difference!
