Flight case

I know there a lots of threads on this but I have a further question. I'm not overly tall, just over 6ft, but I find with every trolley case I always catch the back of my heels when walking. It's really annoying.

I need a new case anyway, and want to get a new trolley but one that won't trip me up.

Any recommendations out there from tall pilots?

One of the basic and fundamental laws of physics.
It is not possible for a man to pull a small trolley case without "mincing"
Either embrace your feminine side and mince confidently or "man up" and carry the darned thing.;)

I had exactly the same problem and it was only solved by a change in technique!

There is a school of thought ( within the prison community) that if you push from astern- it doesn't count . It's only dodgy if you are in front.
Don't buy it myself.
( btw- the op could maybe just try wearing shorter heels )

Try using a VIP gate, I don't mean length of stride, get someone else to take the strain!

Ah I tried that carrying thing. Never was a fan....I like to keep these arms muscle free....matches my heels.

Walk as if you were chewing a toffee in your buttocks....

6ft 2ins and no heel scars.
Rimowa.
Available in a multitude of styles, weights and colours to suit all moods and occasions. Perhaps best to avoid those cases which open as Rorschach blot for those that have a veritable lid.

Cavortingcheetah. 500 quid for a flight bag:eek:
I think you should change your moniker to "havinagiraffe"

Longer handle? I used to be in the 'carry it' brigade until shoulders started to ache. Doctor advised wheels due the amount of travelling we do, shoulders got better!
