Dumping Fuel

I have a question about aircraft dumping fuel. When an aircraft (over UK for arguments sake) needs to dump fuel, what is the protocol after doing so. E.g. what are the mandatory reporting lines (environmental agencies), does it incur a financial penalty, is dumped fuel measured per aircraft or/and is it also measured as a collective figure against the airline calculating the amount of fuel dumps per annum against the entire fleet. Im not familiar with the discharging system and it may be that it atomises the fuel particles into insignificance, however I would have thought that atomized fuel would be more of a risk than a gain in certain conditions.
Probably asking a very simple question but just wondered.

Thanks

Why would you bother to report fuel dumping to an environmental agency? Do you think it constitute some kind of danger to the environment? It is elementary petroleum geology that most petroleum ever generated underground have evaporated up through the layers into the atmosphere. Millions of barrels every year for million of years. And it will continue to do so to the end of time.

Dusk...........has somebody logged on to your account and written this as a joke, you need to ask around the industry and see the constraints, penalties and reporting policies for unplanned releases of Hydrocarbons !!, agreed as this is explained earlier the altitude acts as a control mechanisim in itself as it allows for evaporation.

The f1-11 s I used to work on dumped fuel then lit the afterburners......great fun to watch.

Been here since 1970 - never heard of a report for dumping.

However, whatever circumstances prompted the fuel dump probably also requires an FSR and thus a description of the action(s) taken.

Just shows the witless & pavlovian responses the meeja have generated amongst the lackovintelligensia.

Fuel dunped above 5000 ft does not reach the ground in a fuel state, but gets dispersed into the atmosphere.

Sometimes I just want to bash my own head with a hammer...No Pandas will be harmed if an aircraft dumps fuel....however many people maybe if it does not. :ugh::ugh:
