LVO radio calls

New member, very first question :)

In what respects to LVO and radio procedures/phraseology, it is established that the "vacating sensitive area" call is a required one.

I have always understood that a "on ground" call is also required, after landing.

However, I can not find a single resource that explicitly states that such a call is required.

Do any of you guys know of any reference material that shows that requirement?

No requirement to call 'on the ground' or anything similar unless the controller requests it. Runway vacated call is probably more commonly requested. At some airports that support LVOs the availability of good surveillance systems has largely done away with the need for many additional RTF calls.

Thanks...

When we think that most modern airports feature GMC/SMC/SMR incarnations of some sort, it's easy to understand how such call, even if previously contemplated, would now be redundant and just "frequency time consuming".

However, surely the same reasoning would apply to the "vacated sensitive" area call and that one is still current in most places I fly into...
