Will greatly appreciate if some of you could please enlighten me which airlines in Canada recruit Direct entry captains holding British CAA, Canadian and other licences ?
Presntly my friend is employed in S.E.Asia and would now like to return home!!

'The Right to live and work in the UK' Does this apply to Canadians ? Has it ever been waived ?
Any info is welcome.

Can't help with the first, but 'the right to live and work in the UK' generally applies only to EU citizens, or those married to UK citizens. There is some kind of reciprocal agrement with Australia, NZ and S. Africa regarding temporary work permits, hence all London pubs seen to have foreign bar staff!
