Random alcohol/drug testing of pilots.

As this is a fairly hot topic in the UK at the moment I thought I might ask in which countries is it currently allowed/carried out?

Been mandatory for a few years in the USA.

Sorry to say, in the last 18 months at my conpany, we've lost 2 pilots to drugs and one to alcohol.
