DC10 low over hants today???
 

Evening....im sitting at home just north of Portsmouth today when I hear the roar from hell out of know-where. I leg-it out side to see a DC-10 in what looked like Airtours colours overhead id guess at FL40/50, gear down. Couldnt see the flaps but the aircraft sounded to have a highish N1 as if it was on an approach. There is no where near here apart from Southampton, and im sure none of you guys would try to get a DC10 in and stop on 1700mtr runway?

Cant think what else it would have been doing?

(N83AA i think ex OY-CNT out of Manston) - it was scheduled for wednesday but went tech ;)

Hi Mike, im in Drayton, fly at Goodwood..!!

Definitely N833AA in Airtours/Premiair colour scheme but with no titles. I took a picture of it yesterday before it is reduced to razor blades. Maybe some time though as there is hell of queue of 1-11's, A300's and B737's to be scrapped as well.

Cool, i fly at Goodwood too, just got checked out.
How long you been flying, how many hours etc.., don't mind me asking
