JAA fees
 

Dear aviators flying under JAR-FCL licenses,

I would appreciate information how much your CAA charges to renew ATPL(A) licence and/or Type rating after the LPC.
Simple info, internet link, pm.

Correct me if i'm wrong but for the UK CAA, you just get the TRE to sign the page in your license after the LPC and he sends the paperwork to the CAA free of charge. A very rare occasion!
To renew the ATPL i believe its every 5 years with a fee of £125 or so... Civil Aviation Authority Home Page will tell you to be precise.

what if you did it with the TRE who belongs to a different JAA member?
He cannot sign your licence i think?

So long as the TRE is of a fully compliant JAR state it should be accepted but check with you're local CAA first. UK CAA accept this and is stated in LASORS.
The sim will also need to be compliant.
