Pilot Shirts

Its not often I'm wishing I was in the USA but would be helpfull if I was at the moment.. Can anyone help with this one

I'm looking to buy some high quality shirts. The usual searches on google and yahoo only bring back sites in America who don't send to UK. I'm looking for the following:

Classic pilot shirt , non taper , at least 70% cotton , with wing bars

I'm looking for a site in UK or maybe Europe if the P&P is reasonable

Any ideas

Hiya,

Transair.co.uk do some excellent pilot shirts which sound about right for yourself.

They have a superb selection on there.

Thanks

Try "Tally Ho" in Miami Lakes near KMIA I believe they ship anywhere

Otherwise the OLYMP shirts which are very good quality can be bought on line thoughout the EU (the pilot shop at Eglebach and Cannes stock them) although the wing bars are not a european thing

for my money Landerwood are the very best shirts available and have a great fit
I think some of the USA uniform shops will ship them.

Good Luck

Tally Ho in MIA will certainly ship overseas, as will Tarpy Tailors in LAX.
Both fine quality shops that I have personally used often...and still do.

The best only costs a little more.

I prefer Olymp shirts. They don't have wing bars though.

Landerwood are supposed to be the best pilot shirts on the market but I have never seen one to try it out.

They have a website and you can order here:

These people were/are running an advert on pprune - don't know if they're any good or not.

We have just had a horrendous uniform change - thin fabric, pinched buttons, crap shirts.

2 or 3 guys have used workwearhouse and have been impressed with the shirts - they also do embroidery if needed for company names or prisoner numbers

Best UK shirts I have found are from Wensum near Gatwick. Not see through (like so many cheap shirts),stay white and iron well.Quite full-cut,if you like that kind of thing!

They cost about £10 each incl. postage, so they don't clean you out,either.......

Yes agree with Martin barnes,

OLYMP is one of the best pilot shirts ever proposed , considering price quality and easy to care...and still looking nice after 4 years :D
