Jet 2 at Farnborough
 

Jet 2 757 flying into Farnborough late morning (mon 14 Jan).

Got my attention as it was low over South Farnham, with gear down and going soooooo slowly (winds quite strong today)

Just wondering what Jet 2 do out of Farnborough? Charter, Scheduled service, training....

Could be a charter flight or a diversion from Lasham, as that is one place maintenance on the B757 fleet is carried out.

Evening chaps,

Might be able to help on this one, was in the right hand seat.
It was on its way into lasham from the north east (coming from lba)
G-LSAE in for a C check for the next month or so.

My first time into lasham, interesting little airfield and certainly gets you thinking when operating a jet into :bored:

African International DC8 departed 5mins later, always a great sight watching one of these rocket up.

Oh and with reference to low and slow quite far out, both our first time into the airfield so slowing down the earlier the better! Sorry for the noise

Been in this house for 4 years and always thought the traffic was headed for Farnborough. Looking at a map I have just realised that I am on the centreline for RW27 at Lasham!

Low & slow, but looking good. :ok:
