Being current in more than one type in company.

I would like to know if there is/are airlines out there which has some of its pilots fly more than one type on line.

That is, keep current in more than one type.

Yes, TWA did this with selected senior Captains.
I personally knew one who was current on three separate types...B767, L1011, B747.

He mentioned that he spent a good bit of time in the simulator(s)....:}

Well, doing mixed fleet flying is pretty common nowadays, especially with the airbus types. Flying and being current on A320 (family) and A330 is done by several companies, mixing the A330 and A340 is probably even more common. Some plan on mixing A380 and A340.

Boeing promises that you can mix the 777 and 787 as well, but we have to see about that, heck, they even propose the mixing of the 737 and 787 although im rather skeptical myself there.

Since the 757 and 767 as far as i know share one type rating that probably doesn't count in this topic, but is a kind of mixed fleet flying nonetheless.

Well, i know of a couple guys that keep current in A320s and 737 as well as a couple business jets, but that is not really common and requires quite a lot of extra training, at least under JAR-Rules.
