747-400 IRS Align time question
 

Hi

Iam using the Aerowinx 744 CBT and just thinking about the irs 10 -15 minute align time do you have to wait till the irs aligns or can u start endering the route and take-off data in the fmc asap. if having to wait 10 minutes what needs to be done in this time. If possible can anybody help thanks

The a/c is usually 7 1/2 minutes to alignment. In that time you can complete the rest of the scan checks and have that all-important first cup of coffee!!
