cross winds landing

Could some one explain me what exactly cross wind landing is?

when the wind is blowing across the runway trying to take you off the centreline:}

you use ur rudder and ailerons to keep the a/c's track on the centreline while u might be pointing the nose into wind! then u kick it straight on touchdown! hope this helps :)

Can clearly remember my first cross wind landing. Just couldn't fathom the idea of touching down with one wheel first, and the other two in the air. Certainly raised the hairs at the back of my neck :) . But as the saying goes, practice makes perfect. They're really no bigee once you know both your own limitations and the limitations of your aircraft:ok: .
