suggested reading
They taught me: " a good pilot is always learning ".
So I'd like some reading advice to become a more proficient pilot, to have a better understanding and a more in depth study of all the subjects beyond the scope of the normal ATPL syllabus. Feel free to post any suggestions or reviews of aviation related books. Thank you. |
Two for starters from my library...
"The anatomy of the aeroplane", by Darrol Stinton and "Pilots Weather", by Brian Cosgrove. Both very readable, the content is fairly obvious from the titles - but written very much from the level of "this is the interesting and important stuff you should know about", without even paying lip service to any exam syllabus.
