Skyservice at Cardiff

On 3rd of August last year C-FTDF operatinf the VZ788 from TFS suffered an approach status degradation on finals and ended up blowing 3 tyres and stopping close to end of runway 30 at Cardiff.

I was one of the Servisair staff that was on shift to meet the flight that night and can remember it well.

Anyhow, I have been searching for a report into the incident as I am interested to read the whole story and finding out why this happened. I cant find anything on the AAIB site nor its candian counterpart.

Does anyone know were a copy of the report (if issued) can be obtained.

Cheers

I don't know the investigation arrangements in either of the countries involved, but it seems to me that there are at least possibilities :-

1. international investigations can take quite a while to complete; OR
2. an internal (ie in-company) investigation may have been the only requirement.

As you rightly say, it was an incident (ie not an accident), so the investigation authorities may have accorded it a low priority.
