Britannia - Jepps or Aerads?

Quick question, do Britannia use Jeppesen or Aerad plates?

Thanks.

Unfortunately Jepps. Why?

Thanks Bally Heck.

Just curiosity really, I know from jumpseat visits over the years that most in the UK seem to use Aerad, Airtours/MYT being the only ones I had ever seen using Jepps...

Just realised I had never jumpseated on BY and wondered what they use. Now I know.

Do any others apart from MYT & BY use Jepps then? How about JMC/TCX?

Cheers.

Loc

If it's any help, Amm use Aerads.

Cheers,

TCX use Jepps.

Pain in the arse with everything everywhere. Used to it now though.

How come Jepps are so unpopular then? Or is it just a case of what you're used to / brought up on?

Having done an FAA CPL/IR before my JAA CPL/IR all my initial instrument training was with Jepps and I now much prefer them over Aerad...

Am I right in saying Virgin use SAS Flight Support charts? Interesting choice if so.

The information is just scattered all over the place. Sometimes lacking in info. Take the DVR departure from LGW 26 L / R, it doesnt even tell you the frequency for DET !! (Unless you guess it from it pointing at something on the 08 departure.

Quite often the cleared altitude on a SID is hidden away, and it may say FL XXX, then elsewhere 0 actually its YYY if you are doing this SID.

Some of the new format have made this worse (GCFV springs to mind!)
