DC3 charter for a wedding bash?

Any suggestions on this?
I'm looking for a DC3 (or similar) operator who can provide an aircraft for Biggin Hill to Northern France for guests at my wedding do.
I had been thinking of South Coast Airways but they appear to have gone under.
Any ideas for a good hotel/chateau near to a suitable airfield & that can provide a good meal/piss up/accomadation would also be gratefully recieved.
TIA

BAC Express have a couple of Sheds with a 30 pax config (instead of 35/36pax normally) for ad-hoc pax charters.

I have done bookings with South Coast Airways from Bournemouth and Air Atlantique from Coventry in the past. I don't know whether they still do this but it is worth a phone call.

Thanks guys.
I don't really think a shed would be in keeping with the day - not much glamour or romance there eh? Also, I flew in one once, never felt so sick in my life!
Waiting on a reply from Air Atlantique.........
Keep 'em coming.

Air Atlantique spring to mind. They have about half a dozen DC3`s. They also have some very unusual vintage aircraft which may fit the bill.

Air Atlantique is your only bet. South Coast Airways went bust.

Call Atlantique on +44 (0)2476 307 566,
I think its sue hawkins who does the charter quotes for them.
They have one Dak (G-AMRA) avaliable for pax or freight charter 30+seats or 3.4 tonnes.:D

Quote now recieved from Air Atlantique.
Thanks for replies.

If you do use the DAC its worth while being there when they get it refueled. I don't know what "fecking how many litres?" is in french.

Then watch some poor sod scrub the apron to get rid of the oil slick.

Great machines, look great, sound great.

And i hope you have a great day as well :D

If you are using BIG, better make sure ir is considered as a 'Private' flight, as Bromley council I believe do not smile on passenger flights.

Does anyone in this country ever smile about anything these days?
