737-3XX - Customer Index

I assume [?] that the 'XX' refers to specific airline customers.
Some examples are 737-3Q8/-3YO/-36N/-33A etc.
My particular interest is in the 737-3QT.
Does anybody know where these references can be found?

I've not come across a 'QT' as a boeing customer designator. Is it a leasing company as the ones you've mentioned all look like lessors i.e. GATX, ILFC,GECAS etc.
FYI the designators can be found on Boeings' website or at the back of the 'JP'.

Silkman
Despite a good look beforehand, I was unable to find any information on the Boeing website - hence my post.
I've been told that it may be a 'one-off' combi a/c, fitted with a non-standard cargo door for Princess Anne's horses.
However, the information I have infers it possibly belonged to Britannia or Orion [circa 1985].
I doubt that I'll find a library now, with copies of JP old enough to shine a light on the the subject - but thanks anyway.
Any encyclopedic PPRuNers out there?

Do you mean a 'QC' ? The 'QC' is not a customer designator but a version which stands for Quick Change, or otherwise known as a 'combi. The aircraft has a side cargo door on the port side to enable loading of pallets. It can be used as a pax aircraft by loading the seats which are also on pallets through the cargo door. Does'nt take long to 'QC' the aircraft.
Channel Express operate 2 737-3QC's in the UK operated on Islandsflugs' AOC.
Do you have a construction number for the aircraft you're enquiring about and i could trace it ?
I think both the Channex aircraft are ex Lufthansa.

BIK

Could'nt have put it better myself !

Were you bored ?:D

No - it's definately a 737-3QT. I'm wondering if it may be a 'QC' variant.
The [possible] Royal connection could explain why it's not listed above.

Silkman: at this stage the information relates only to the designator but if I can find a s/n to go with it [possible] I'll take you up on your kind offer to trace it. Ta.

BIK: Any clue of date &/or source for your list?

Cheers both.

Both of the current Channex QC aircraft are ex Lufthansa and designated 737 330 QC, you might find the information you are looking for with a search of www.bird.ch/bharms/boeing/b737ct_0.htm

A very comprehensive list of 737 300/400/500 aircraft.
